 With sadness we note the death on June 12, 2008 of Friar Daniel Pietrzak. He was the Secretary General for Formation and a member of the community of the Friary of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Fr. Daniel held many positions of responsibility within the Order, including several terms as Provincial of his home Province of St. Anthony, USA and Custos General of the General Custody of Our Lady Help of Christians, Australia from 1995-2002. His funeral was held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Buffalo, New York, U.S.A, his hometown.
